Nurry is a South Korean-British pianist who started playing the piano at the age of 6 with her Mum as teacher.

Her progress was astonishingly quick, through winning a concerto competition aged just nine, a full scholarship to the Wells cathedral school at 11, to recently completing her undergraduate and masters degrees at the Royal College of Music.

She’s won many competitions and picked up scholarships along the way including one enabling her to study at the RNCM in Manchester next year. She’s no mean violinist either!

Already she has extensively toured as a soloist in Europe, America, Asia and West Africa, and you may have been lucky enough to hear her play Beethoven’s “Emperor” piano concerto this year at “The Anvil”.

Nurry also loves to perform with other musicians and is a member of the female piano trio, “Trio Rouge”,  which has collaborated with the likes of the Harlem Quarter (USA), Trio Apaches and Alina Ibragimova.

She’s not just limited to the “classical” genre having played with Big Bands, and recording film and gaming music for Spotify in the last few years.
